Hellwoods was the very first imperial stout we ever brewed, and has morphed over the years from a traditionally bitter, roasty/toasty stout to one that's full bodied and chewy...but, of course, we couldn't just stop there.
In 2023, we kegged a batch of Hellwoods that was brewed with Madagascan vanilla, and offered it up to brewpub guests. This year, we decided to can it!
The original Hellwoods brew is full-bodied and chewy, and the added vanilla in this batch gives it a lighter, sweeter taste.
