A Stout with Coffee is a series of stouts we created to feature local coffee roasters, and observe the results of different beans in beer. An Imperial Stout with Coffee is the big sibling, with a bumped up malt bill, ABV, and sensory impact.
AISWC uses beans from "A Room On Ossington" -- the cafe situated directly across the street from our brewpub, that functions sans website and aided by extremely kind staff. The beer is more intense than its non-imperial counterparts, with distinct rich and roasty notes of toffee, black currant, and cocoa.
