FRILLS: our IPA series that allows our brewers to further explore and experiment with new flavour-boosting hop products!

 

This fifth instalment of FRILLS is a collab with Freestyle Hops of New Zealand that utilizes an array of their unique, high-quality products:

 

Nelson Bliss: a blend of early harvest and late harvest Nelson hops - a choice of their best lots! This is our first time using this product, which aims to maximize the free thiols (sweet tropical characters) without losing the brighter citrus and wine-y notes from earlier harvested Nelson hops.

 

Rakau hops: you know these guys.

 

Rakau SubZero Hop Kief™: a very long name for a super concentrated liquid hop product that amplifies hop aromatics.

 

All together, this Freestyle FRILLS has notes of macerated strawberries, sour grape candies, and orange juice.
